Virginia Went To Paper Within 60 Days. It Can Be Done.

The Commonwealth of Virginia detected a vulnerability in their voting machines and decided to move immediately to paper ballots. And they did it within 60 days of it having been done.  And the good news is that they already know how to make the transition and are willing to help other states. So…  Consider that Virginia has both deep rural residents as well as most of the DC bureaucrats.  All it takes is political will.…

Veterans made the greatest sacrifice for the right to vote. Now it’s our turn.

This is incredibly important information that you’d think the government would make public, but instead it makes it difficult. And USVoteFoundation has stepped in to consolidated this data into a useable format.    We’re also working…

Bring it, Philly

One of the missing pieces to the #WeWantPaperBallotsNow campaign at the moment is very local contact information for decision-makers who could influence funding for paper ballots. This is arguably the most critical piece, since all voting is hyper-local.  The GoogleCivicAPI doesn’t go that deep, so we have to find and integrate other data sources to make the app truly localized for every American. We’ve hand-rolled a version of the app just for Philadelphia to demonstrate…
