We must ensure that every ballot cast on November 3, 2020 is cast on paper and is subject to risk-limiting audits. There must be no question about the integrity of our elections.
The House of Representatives passed an election security bill (the SAFE Act) but the Mitch McConnell has not allowed it to be voted on.
Our Strategy:
- Put pressure on Senators to pressure Mitch McConnell to vote
- Put pressure on state election officials in paperless states to require paper ballots, anyway. Many states have done this successfully and quickly. In already-paper-balloted states, we’ll ask states to de-certify elections that are not on paper with risk-limiting audits
- Grow the campaign by inviting others to participate, especially friends in Kentucky (Mitch McConnell’s state and he’s up for re-election)
If we can put a man on the moon, we can put a piece of paper in every citizen’s hand on election day.
