Bring it, Philly

One of the missing pieces to the #WeWantPaperBallotsNow campaign at the moment is very local contact information for decision-makers who could influence funding for paper ballots. This is arguably the most critical piece, since all voting is hyper-local.  The GoogleCivicAPI doesn’t go that deep, so we have to find and integrate other data sources to make the app truly localized for every American.

We’ve hand-rolled a version of the app just for Philadelphia to demonstrate what’s possible by integrating the right data.. Fitting that the birthplace of Freedom as we know it is also the first real-world test of the functionality of the app and campaign.  And super-excited, because we know Philly doesn’t f’ around.
